That happens all the time. At least you have an option that yields a fair 8-day midsize quote. $176 isn't bad, but holy cats gotta love those airport fees.

Keep trying off and on between now and the travel date. I'm a AAA member, but I almost always find other things that yield better rates. Search the Hertz board and the general Hertz coupon code thread on this board. (Many of the best codes expire on March 31st, but more will be published.)

It's always an adventure trying to pair up the right CDP and PC codes to get the best overall deal. At least you've got a good rate in-hand now and it can only get better as the next batches of coupons are published between now and June.
