I prefer a ground floor room and get annoyed with the elevator or stairs. Especially when I travel alone I want a ground floor so I can quickly and easily get to the room. The access to the garden inn is by the front desk or with a key and late at night some require a key at the front door. Most gardens are built in very good places, so I would be more creeped out by who is on the floor with me than who is outside. But if you want a high floor just set it up in your profile under preferences and you will almost always get a high floor when you reserve in advance via the internet and most of the time by phone.
