Two guests into a lounge (but not myself) ?

I'll be going with some friends (a married couple) from LGW to KEF. As they've never flown J/F on any airline, let alone BA, it would be nice if I could get them into the LGW Terraces. It'll be early in the morning and they're teetotal so it'll only be some cornflakes, toast, juice etc.

I've checked the BA97 calendar for other FT'ers travelling but so far no such luck. Otherwise, apart from exploring the layout of these LGW Terraces , the only possible way would be to ask a lounge dragon very nicely, saying that I know it's outside the published benefits, without any expectations (other than a "no" as per the rules quite rightly) etc.

On that point and given that I don't mind about going into the lounge myself (just this once - I can check out the wonders of the Aviance Executive Suite as I have a Priority Pass), has anyone had any experience of asking for two guests to be admitted into the lounge but not the cardholder ? This must also be outside of the published benefits, i.e. cardholder only plus guest.

(No such problems on the way back given that I can simply give away both my lounge passes which I'll get at check-in at KEF.)
