yeah, i kind of think they are silly. it's one thing to point out a practice (like someone being rude while trying to switch seats). but, it's kind of silly to write open letters to passengers. isn't that what craigslist is for (the section of craigslist where you can write to people you randomly see on the street, etc.)?
