United_Flyer3, if you use a corporate travel agency to handle your bookings, you should talk to your account manager. They should be able to handle a corporate rate solicitation for you, if your volume justifies it. However, systemwide corporate rate programs with any of the large chains generally require substantial volume (10,000 room nights or more per year, depending on the chain.) ICHG may have a generic 'small business' program with modest rate discounts, in the 5 to 15% range mentioned above that they can plug you into - but they tend to be about on par with the AAA discounts. The large corporate agencies like Amex, Carlson or World Travel/BTI may actually have better discounts because of the volume they can direct to hotels. If there are some cities you plan to travel to regularly (with the potential of a few hundred room nights per year per city), it pays to negotiate with hotels in those cities directly and use a more generic discount rate program for your other cities.
