On Aeroflot JFK-SVO on takeoff it was open as was landing and approach, but it was closed for the rest of the flight... The galley curtain didn't seem closed... ON Dual aisle a/c what if the marshall gets the middle seat....and what if the marshall's view is obstructed by galley curtains
