I also prefer widebody jets ( 767) as it feels more spacious but given the relative lack of them , I do like the 757 (especially in the front section but in the flight to BUD the cabin divider was halfway down the front cabin ( only three rows of CE)
I probably would not choose a destination based on a particular aircraft but to a destination might choose the 757 over the airbus.
However in any event I would try to get the A-C seats ( B being " thinner" and not used ) compared to DEF regardless of aircraft type
