I have flown them a few times. Mostly pretty satisfactory on the flights I took. They did do a really hard, 3 bounce on only the left wheels, landing with me in CGK once. Although weather may have had allot to do with it too. After the third bounce the pilot just put it down hard which was probably prudent. Other than that, they don't 'seem' that bad..... by Indonesian standards. The planes 'look' better than those of some of the other local airlines.

The check-in agents and FA's are SUPER nice people. About a month or two before it happened, I had flown the CJK-SUB leg of the same flight that disappeared Jan 1. I suppose it's just as bad no matter who it happened to but I hope the same FA's I talked to on my flight were not on the flight that disappeared. I was sitting in 1A and chatting with the FA's about the new terminal that had just opened in SUB. She was so excited because she said it was her first time flying into SUB since the new terminal opened too.

I won't say they are safe or even fit to be in the sky. I don't have all the facts on that. This latest incident sure does not help their already tarnished safety image. But their front line staff are some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.
