Yes. You can get a barebones system with just a motherboard, power supply and case, and memory if your old memory is too slow or not compatible. Keep your old hard drives, optical drives, mice, keyboards, monitors, network adaptors, etc. There's no need to buy everything brand new when you upgrade.
