I wasn't the first one off the block to apply for my credit card last year. Thus, some of you are sure to get your free night certs sooner than me this year. You can check your accounts and see when it posted last year. Here is what my account says:

When you early applicants get the Cat 5 cert posted to your account, please advise the date your account shows for the original Cat 4 cert and the date of the Cat 5, so I can estimate when my Cat 5 cert may be coming. If it looks like I can't get it in time for the trip I want to use it for, I may cancel the card before having to pay the annual fee.
