I've had a UA FA's hold the door for me at ORD when my flight from PEK to ORD was running late. I was on the last connecting flight of the day out to my next destination so I guess it was either that or pay for my hotel. I guess they opted to wait. The FA was extremely nice and didn't rush me at all once I got to the gate all out of breath and sweaty. She let me pace around for a few minutes to catch my breath so i didn't have to be "the sweaty guy that everyone hates to sit next to"
