This reminds me of a delayed late night DFW-LAX AA flight - there were some pax connecting to SQ's TPE flight (or maybe it was CX - I forget) - so we parked at the TBIT!

I have to say the "barely made" connections where the airline went above and beyond to get me where I was going exceed the number of connections I've missed... helps me put things in perspective when I see pax chewing out a gate agent for closing the door (or in the case of what I saw at ORD recently, people banging on the window, waving to the pilots and screaming "reopen the door"...as the plane started to push back....)
