I agree that the current schedules seem to require overnighting going or coming on long flights here or there.

It appears to be mostly with those flying out of smaller airports (our daughter in ALB is having the same problem as we are flying out of CRP). In our case, it's AA cutting back a few flights a day, plus the "early flight" now leaving too late to connect with mid-morning flights heading east, west, north, or south... and our "late incoming CRP flight" now positioned to miss-connect with flights coming into DFW in mid-evening.

Unfortunately, many AA customers in our area are switching to CO because of better schedule. We won't, but the more who switch, the more AA might be encouraged to cut back our service.

It's a catch 22 situation. Meanwhile, we get to decide WHERE along the route we'll overnight coming or going! ACK!
