So it would appear. I am only going out to Italy to begin an ex MIL trip but have decided in the meantime to try and spend a couple of nights at the Cavalieri Hilton in Rome, before flying on to MIL on AZ.

I will be rebooking on LX, I will accept the inconvenience of going via ZRH for the convenience of starting my trip at LCY, marginally better food and proper seating allocation and . I will save a reasonable amount by using LX so feel quite happy with the outcome.
