Well......Providence to Boston (interstates) and a quick drive. Boston to Augusta (you can take Route 1 to 95 and stay on 95 to just before Portland and take I-295 straight to Augusta.

Augusta to Concord....take 95 South and cross the Piscataqua Bridge into NH. Then take Route 4 (not an interstate) to Concord.

Concord to Montpelier: I-89 straight.

Montpelier to Hartford: 89 to 91 to Hartford.

Hartford to Providence: Route 2 (highway), to I-395, to Rt 6.

Augusta certainly throws a wrench into things and basically, this drive sounds hellish but you could say that you did all 6 NE capitals.
