I'm gonna do what xyzzy suggested and book the first 3 days, find an alternate room for the 4th day, and ask closer in to the convention about room availability.

Unfortunately, I tried what MoreMilesPlease suggested, but couldn't find any rates for the hotel when I was logged into my account.
