I didn't know that diazepam, otherwise known as Valium, was indicated for jet lag. I thought that it was used mainly as an anti-anxiety medications. I have also heard that Valium, even when used for a limited time, can result in withdrawl. IMHO, I would be careful with Valium if all you are doing is trying to deal with jetlag by inducing sleep.
