good thread afa VDB

since we all gripe about vouchers vs free Tix : here's an interesting printout from my trip sin-nrt-sfo-mco. Sin-Nrt was wide open but nrt-sfo was tight and sfo- mco was f2=y1. In singapore I asked to be put on the VDB list, on a light day, hoping to be able to re-route "without" a fee, to get to mco 3 1/2 hrs early. Sin TA printed out the following blue card attached to my BP.

This is what it say's on the blue printout.

OUR UNITED COMMITMENT

thank you for volunteering to relinquish your seat on flight 0292. if we need your seat-you are entitled to a travel credit or in select markets, a free ticket voucher and a seat on the next available flight. Travel Credits may be applied to the purchase of a future flight on ua/uax. Free ticket vouchers are valid for travel on UA/UAX between points in the 48 contiguous US. Both are valid for one year from the date of issue. policy is subject to change. other conditions may apply.

looks like b..chin about whats what; is starting to be printed right on the blue card, so much for "take it or leave it" ^
