I have done open jaw domestic awards many times, and according to

Open jaw: Legal open jaws (open jaw length shorter than flown flight segment length) are permitted
it's still allowed. Hope they don't make it an enhancement to take away this benefit.

Certainly not available online, but you can't really book multi-city awards over the phone either, since a domestic flight does not allow a stopover or open jaw, and requires the most direct routing, or so they have been telling me lately.
