Without knowing anything about the apartment, it is impossible to know if this is a fair price or not. Buying property in France is very detailed. There are a lot of laws regarding inheritance and a million other things.
The 6th is a rather sought after district. I wish we had purchased property in Paris 7 years ago when we were seriously considering it. It really has escalated in price since then.
Just out of curiosity, what street it it on?
