I got the official "Welcome to PHL middle finger salute" on Friday night:

After sitting on the tarmac for an hour and 40 minutes because there was no open gate which wasn't iced over which could accomodate our 321: It took an hour and forty-five minutes (!) for our bags to arrive! (Please...no flaming for checking a bag to PHL...I had no choice.) The scene at the baggage desk was absolute chaos. There was not one person there who claimed to have any authority whatsoever to even pick up the phone and call a manager to find out what the situation was with our bags. I finally received my bag a full 2 hours after we parked at the gate - nearly 4 hours after touching down in PHL.

To top it off...The sight which met me in the bathroom in baggage claim is something which could have this thread moved to OMNI!!! Let's just say that heads would have rolled if the Board of Health had been inspecting that night.

I am a firm believer in karma, and I am convinced mine was coming back to bite me for not booking the earlier flight on the 320!!!
