In summary, it looks to me like the Commercial Messages portion of the rules needs to be more clearly defined, because
many of the posts that I would certainly consider useful on Flyertalk are "promotional" or "testimonial" posts about useful products, services, and providers that Flyertalkers use and sharing those experiences with other members, but it seems to me that such "testimonials" could easily fall afoul of the current Commercial Messages rules. I think specifically we may wish to disallow users from posting referral links unless they are clearly identified as such and restricted to the SPAM forum in specific Conga threads.
