Gold to Diamond - did you see a difference?
My current account says
Achieve Diamond VIP status by completing...

1 more qualifying nights before the end of February 2007

So, I have been thinking about just booking a night at a local Embassy and letting my kids go swimming. Kind of expensive for some pool time but it seems that I would make diamond and I am wondering if it is worth it.

When you went from Gold to Diamond, did you notice anything different? I stay primarily at Embassy Suites but sometimes Hilton.
