The one bag thing doesn't really bother me too much. Typically I used to travel with camera equipment + carryon and now I can't which isn't ideal but now just requires a bit more packing flexibility. When the bag size limits were in place in the middle of last year, I can understand the carping but now it's not too bad.

I will agree with the people who say that the massive rollaboards probably haven't helped matters as, to be honest, it'd take a fraction of the time to security check my camera back and laptop/carryon bag than it than it would take to check one of the large rollaboards.
