I just checked out the Fox 29 story:

US is blaming the 2/14 weather on the fact that some people are still waiting for their bags since 2/14. OK, maybe I'm missing something -- but can someone explain how so many bags can get lost on a snowy/icy day when so many flights were
cancelled??? I mean, with so many flights not even taking off, wouldn't it be easier to keep track of the bags? OK, maybe some US employees couldn't make it into work because of the weather that day. But wouldn't the effects of that compromised workforce be mitigated by the lack of flights?
