With no status, the only way to get E+ prior to day of travel is to:
1/ Buy Economy+Access for $299 (good for 2 people traveling together)
2/ Travel with an elite, who bring you to E+ with them

With no status, the only way to get upgraded to C or F prior to day of travel is to:
1/ Get someone to sponsor you using CR-1 or SWU
2/ Pay with miles to upgrade Y/B/M/H in Region 2 or all fares in Region 1
3/ Put in for an upgrade online using e500s and clear at the 24 hour window. If you clear, you can buy the e500s online or when you check-in at the airport.

Or on day of travel, you can hope to upgrade to E+ by not having a seat assignment in your reservation and pray that Y is full.
