Just turned in the rental at the local HLE. The total was $2.05 after a 5% discount, and the 1.0 WN credit posted as expected.

I had a printout of the 997076 offer, as I had anticipated a little surprise at the $25 off discount. The clerk gave me a little grief because the Delta CDP on the printout did not match the Southwest CDP that I used for booking. He agreed to "let it go this time", and my somewhat gentle reply was that the computer accepted it, therefore it must be legal.

Getting a car for two days for two bucks does seem a bit extreme, and unless I can find a printout of 997076 matched with the Southwest CDP, I'm tempted to go back to 990861. $12 for a two-day rental with one WN credit is a fair shake.
