You guys are going to hang me out to dry for asking so many questions. Does NW usually do a pretty good job of overbooking during holidays and on sundays? DL usually oversells like crazy into/out of TPA on sundays/holidays. Just trying to maximize my voucher possibilities..hehehe

Cheers!!

Last year I did quite well on the late Saturday morning NW flight from DTW-TPA. Each time I took that flight the A320 was always overbooked and they would give me a $300 voucher and then route me via MEM into TPA. The last time I did it the MEM-TPA flight I was rebooked onto was also overbooked and I managed to snag two $300 vouchers in one day (made it to TPA about 12 hours late, but with $600 in TCV's).

Unfortunately, I haven't encountered any overbookings on NW lately. Many full flights but no overbookings. I have some TPA runs coming up soon -- perhaps I'll get lucky this summer.

Best,
