I would like to take my 12 and 13 year old to Alaska for vacation this summer. I want to see wild Alaska, bears, whales, whatever. Does anyone have any experiance with this type of trip. Marriott has properties in Fairbanks and Anchorage. I am not sure where the best place to call home for a few days would be. We will have a car and am not afraid to drive. Any input would be nice. I know almost nothing about Alaska.
