My advice:
--obtain the telephone numbers of the AC baggage office in every airport you came near (YYZ, YYC and YXE).
--call every day.
--visit the baggage offices at these same airports the next time you pass through (this is how we found my bag)
Good luck.

After three weeks and six countries I still haven't got my main missing bag. The lost luggage phone number gets answered in India by morons who have less information available than that at the Worldtracer.
My hunch is that the luggage is sitting in YYZ but I won't be close that airport to any foreseeable future. Since I saw my bag last time I have been to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo twice, Seoul, Hong Kong, and on my way to Melbourne tomorrow.
I do understand that bags get delayed every now and then but the gross negligence of AC is beyond of my belief.
My travel insurance and whatever I get from Air Canada will most likely cover the approximate value of clothes that I had on the bag. I have already used three days of my time to get some of the clothes replaced so that I can enjoy my trip. I am picky what I wear and it is not that easy to find clothes that I really like and would like to wear.
