Depends on where you are traveleing. Connecting from the south, to other cities in the south, east coast, midwest, from a smaller city, not a bad hub. Qucik connections if the schedule works.

Get beyond that niche, and it's not so great. I'd rather deal with the hassels of ATL, DFW etc. that offer more flights with greatrer frequency. If CLT serves the markets you need, than it's a great hub. If you need the most possilble connectons to the most cities, than not.

On a more personal note, if it's a US hub, i try to avoid as much as possible since the carrier ranks at the bottom of my list of carriers I like to fly.
