Desert selection on SQ F has always been limited to one choice per meal. Something I hope they can rectify. Though having said that, I wouldn't hold my breath given the recent cost cutting (i.e. caviar being eliminated for some regional flights).
Yes this is true compared to 5 choices in NH F + the fruits it seems to be an area SQ could do better for the seeet tooth.
I very often fly SQ 631 NRT-BKK and then on the same plane BKK-SIN and there is only 1 desert choice from NRT to BKK (but we get as much caviar as we want and BTC) and as I said between BKK and SIN we get plenty of local BKK fruits and the always avilable ice cream and biscuits.
I never go hungry or feel wanting more regarding meals or drinks when in SQ F
