While you're researching, have you considered an F to CAI with a handy ex-CAI on the end? There's a half decent airline that does a connection to SSH IIRC that only takes 45 mins or something. Nearly did it myself a little while ago: it was definitely decided that it would be a CAI hub to do F rather than 6 hours in CE and it would only add an hour or so to the travel time. In the end, the Caribbean won so I can't report on the practicalities though.
