I don't remember seeing a kids play area outside, in the terminal area, at ORD ... but I usually am arriving just in time for the flight, or I'm heading straight to the A/C.

ORD does NOT have the little 'playroom' symbol in the link you quoted nor in the details of the Club.

MIA does however (which you missed).

The play area we were referring to is OUTSIDE the AC in the main terminal area (inside security) in the open terminal space between K1 and the L concourse ... at least it was last time I made that schlep connection.
