3 weeks ago, leaving BKK for Narita, Thai TSA agents made quite a show of removing from my rollaboard MOST (but not all) of the virtually identical 1+ ounce bottles of various liquids in an amenity kit UA had issued. They then re-packaged those bottles in a quart-size clear plastic bag they supplied, and finally re-deposited their bag into my carryon luggage.
This, to my knowledge, accomplished ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of any significance.

Good luck carrying larger quantities of liquids, though there is a safety issue I can see in allowing glass containers in the cabin.
