I'm comparing my experiences at *wood and Hyatt this year to see if the differences are enough to not have status at both. So far the early results based only on my stays YTD and dealing with CS have *wood kicking Hyatt's pooper (have no experience with trying to get *wood awards and only limited experience with promos). I'm keeping an open mind though for all of this year and probably all of next year. One thing I particularly like about *wood is the 4PM checkout.

That being said, I have a few questions about late checkouts at Hyatts:

1) What are people's experiences for getting a late checkout at Hyatts (frequency and "lateness")? I understand this is mostly driven by demand at a particular property at a particular time. I can almost always get 1PM and infrequently get 2PM.

2) Has Hyatt ever offered something comparable to *wood in this area?

3) I know it is personal choice but where does check out time rank on your list of important benefits?

P.S. And one other benefit of *wood is the presence of *wood lurker on FT. Seems like we get forgotten about frequently by Gold Passport Concierce here
