I am on a full C fare to Europe (on UA metal) and my Messy flight was canceled. UA moved me onto LH. I had been routing via IAD all on UA metal to try and hit the 50k full fare miles to retain UGS. clearly flying LH I will not get UGS credit. Does anyone have experience with getting full fare credit for UGS purposes in such an instance? Has this happened to anyone before? I know UA offers MP credit when transfered out of *A, but that is not my concern in this instance (not to mention I get to my destination two hours later than scheduled).
