If you're going to SFO there's a great TUMI shop there and one of the staff is a fantastically friendly British girl.

I think that although it is expensive it's worth the money - they seem more or less indestructible to me.

If you're ever unlucky enough to be stuck in Orlando, go to the "premium stores outlet". There's a shop there called Morrie's Luggage which sells TUMI luggage for significantly less than anywhere else I've seen in the US. I picked up a bag in the sales for $500 that retails in UK for £825.
