If you're going to the USA buy them over there - they're much cheaper.

I bought myself a large Tumi case in November and it was the same price in dollars as pounds...given the exchange rate it was more or less half the price in other words.

If you're going to SFO there's a great TUMI shop there and one of the staff is a fantastically friendly British girl.

I think that although it is expensive it's worth the money - they seem more or less indestructible to me.
