Correct, this Marriott is not "downtown", but almost four miles north. It also is about equi-distant from Garden of the Gods as it is from downtown.

There is considerable construction currently underway on I-25 in the north portions of Colorado Springs, with completion still at least six months away. However, there is an exit open southbound on I-25, at Exit 147, that will allow you to drive west directly to this hotel.
