Word of warning...do not trade your points for RCI. Last year traded points for RCI property. Four months before trip, property damaged by storm and was not open at trip time. Was told by RCI we had no recourse and lost that year's points because they had been "used" to book a reservation even though the place was unavailable. You have no rights if you "trade" your HGVC points for RCI. Also they (RCI) would not repay any of the fees paid to transfer points.
