The OP is probably best off taking the Maple Leaf, or another Empire Service train, to Buffalo Exchange Street station. The Buffalo Greyhound terminal is less than half a mile away, there are several daily bus departures to Toronto, and the one-way bus fare from Buffalo to Toronto is as low as $16.20.
