Hypothetical question... let's say the MRU price goes up and someone with a MRU issued ticket needs to change the first international segment... Since a refund/reissue is required, does that mean that it would reprice at the new (higher) price?
If the first segment change is just a date change, BA MRU has told me-- and documented the PNR-- that no fee/re-issue is nesc. The rules for that region, I think. I asked at least 5 times if first segment's date was freely changeable.

As far as having AA RTW desk make date changes-- they tried that for my BA flights and it screwed up the record (double bookings as BA's systems reverted) Better off calling BA RTW or calling/emailing BA MRU directly.
