if 90% are not religious (where did you get that "fact" from?) then how come many of the country's laws are based on Jewish tradional laws?
also you might want to define what "not-religious" means. as a Jew: you should know there are no grey areas. maybe its time to define exactly what Israel is all about... than continue to use the religion as a form of existance there. i mean you just confirmed that 90% dont practice the religion. there is a saying in hebrew "you cant eat the whole cake all the time"...
