I have now set up 2 RTW tickets ex MRU and have CONFIRMED on all legs except 1 on Cathay and 1 on AA. MRU were able to CONFIRM a HKG-JNB stand alone but it remained waitlisted in the RTW booking not sure why they did this. AA on the other hand show A3 available but the agent said she could not change from WAITLISTED as the fare was held by BA MRU. I wondered what normal practise is in this situation.
