If I were going to be stuck in coach for 8 hours, I'd certainly prefer that it be on a B6 A320. At least I'd have room to stretch.
Except for running out of food and the stress of not getting anywhere, one could be more uncomfortable crossing the Pacific in coach. I'm not making excuses, just putting it in perspective.
Get back to us when JetBlue strands you on a plane for over 8 hours, and

Your comparison is not a valid one. At least someone crossing the Pacific in coach is getting somewhere. These pax, just like a bunch of us last February, sat on JetBlue planes for over 8 hours, and went nowhere. Don't compare being stranded on a plane for 8 hours and going nowhere to spending 8 hours on a plane during an 8-hour journey that actually takes you to your destination.
