Sorry for the ambiguity. I did the reissue with AA for four reasons: (1) the next two long-hauls are on AA, (2) I thought BA might charge more for the extra segments, (3) I thought BA might insist that I take their HKG-LHR flight rather than taking CX, and (4) I wanted some experience on an AA reissue. On the last point, for various reasons, I have had reissues on other ONE tickets done by BA, CX and QF, but surprisingly enough not by AA. Their staff at YVR were helpful but not very experienced and at a couple of stages, they were on the verge of calling over to BA to see if they would take over the re-issue. Hopefully the AA staff have a little more experience now.
