Just to be clear, did you re-issue with AA or BA? I'm guessing BA?
I think what I may actually do is re-issue with BA MRU this time, now that I think about it, and then switch to AA after I do S. America (especially since I'm not currently planning a single AA segment in/to/from S. America!)
I should throw in your LIM-EZE... but I may keep it relatively simple instead and do the extra segments elsewhere.
