I don't get it. Why would someone not fly an airline again because no food was served. Why wouldn't you just stop at a good sandwich shop, but a good sandwich ( much better than anything any airline serves ) and bring it aboard. Now, if there were other problems and the food was a minor additional grievance, so be it. But your post does not sound that way.
