Just yesterday, I reissued my AONE5 E-MRU after having flown 5 segments. It started out as a paper ticket but is now reissued as an e-ticket. During the reissue, the agent at YVR was told on the phone with the RTW Desk that it could not be an e-ticket because it started out as 18 segments (i.e. more than 16) but I persisted that it was now under 16 (even after adding two) and so she tried it out as an e-ticket and it went through OK. However, the whole process did take about 2 hours (even though I had received approval on the whole itinerary several weeks ago on the phone with the RTW desk). The only extra charge was the reissue fee of $125 even though I added 2 segments to bring it up to the full complement of 20. So no extra charges for the two new stopovers or any extra fuel charges.

Incidentally my next segments are similar JFK-EZE,SCL-IPC-SCL-LIM-EZE-JFK-HKG-...

I've flown MRU-LHR-DXB CAI-YVR-JFK will probably make next segments:
JFK-SCL-IPC-SCL-LIM-JFK
The reason for LIM is to embed a purchased (or award) LIM-JFK-LIM as a stop so I can break and not have to leave N.A. for SWP within 24 hours right after IPC, etc.

Related question-- what kind of equip is LA running on SCL-IPC nowadays? Last time I did it it was a pretty terrible 2-class plane-- still the same?
